Curfew in Colombo except 11 areas to be lifted on Wednesday!!

The police curfew imposed in Colombo District except for 11 Police Divisions would be lifted at 5am on Wednesday (22) and would be re-imposed at 8pm.


This routine would continue daily until further notice, the President's Media Division said. The Police Divisions where the curfew will continuously remain in force are Kotahena, Grandpass, Bambalapitiya, Keselwatta, Maradana, Gothatuwa, Mulleriyawa, Wellampitiya, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala and Kohuwala. The curfew in Gampaha District except for Ja Ela, Kochchikade and Seeduwa Police Divisions would also be lifted at 5am on Wednesday. Police curfew in Kalutara District except for Bandaragama, Payagala, Beruwala and Aluthgama areas, would also be lifted in the same manner, the PMD said.
