AG says probes against 5 suspects over Easter attacks incomplete

 

Attorney General Dappula De Livera has informed the IGP that investigations against five suspects in connection with the Easter Sunday Bomb Attacks are incomplete.

AG's Coordinating Secretary Nishara Jayaratne said the AG has also sought clarification whether any investigations over the attacks are pending. 

She said the AG has written to IGP in a 130-page communication and sought confirmation in writing of the evidence available against 42 suspects in category A in connection with the Easter Sunday Bomb Attacks.
