Gampaha records highest COVID positive cases yesterday: NOCPCO

 

After marking the highest number of daily COVID cases as high as 3,623 yesterday, Gampaha District recorded the highest positive cases of 761, the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID Outbreak (NOCPCO) said.

They said Kalutara district recorded the second highest cases with 493.

Also, more than 200 patients were reported in Colombo, Kurunegala, Galle, Jaffna and Kegalle districts.

Among the highest cases in the Gampaha District, 101 cases in Divulapitiya and 100 cases in Kadawatha reported.

A total of 263 patients were reported in Panadura South area in the Kalutara district.
