Considering the current pandemic situation in the country, the State Pharmaceutical Corporation (SPC) has made arrangements to deliver medicines for the patients and the needy to their homes in the designated areas.

SPC Chairman (Consultant Neurosurgeon) Dr. Prasanna Gunasena said the programme will be initiated in Colombo, Gampaha, Kandy, Peradeniya and Kurunegala.

Several telephone numbers are given for this purpose for the convenience of the people in the above areas.

Accordingly, for the people live in Colombo 1, 4 and 7 can place their order through 070 1 902 740, 070 1 902 741 and 070 1 902 742, and for those who live in Gampaha can contact through  070 1 902 773, in Kandy through 070 1 902 737, in Peradeniya through 070 1 902 739 and for those who live in Kurunegala can contact through 070 1 718 318 to place their order for medicines, the Chairman added.
