Stray dog enters Covid treatment centre, bites three women

 

A stray dog that has entered a Covid-19 treatment centre at Kosnilgoda Hospital in Morawaka had bitten three women who were receiving treatment there.

At the time of the incident, 38 people were receiving treatment at the centre.

Some patients had climbed on the beds and screamed to save their lives when the dogs entered the centre.

Some of them have completed their treatment and were ready to go home.

The dog was chased out of the centre by the hospital staff and others.

Later, the crowd reportedly had beaten the dog to death.
