Contact CMC to get their vaccine

The Colombo Municipal Council's (CMC) Public Health Department today requested people above the age of 70 to contact the department to obtain their AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine.

They said the vaccination programme will continue for those who live in the CMC limits.

Those who have not received their SMS or telephone call, can send an email to 'epidunitcmc@gmail.com' along with their names, National identity Card (NIC), mobile number and images of both sides of the vaccination card.

The vaccination drive involved AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine for people above the age of 70 will get underway today.

CMC regional Epidemiologist Dr. Dinu Guruge told the Daily Mirror that the AstraZeneca vaccine will be given to people who have not received their SMS alert or a call.

After receiving their details, the recipients will be informed of the date, time and the venue by the CMC.
