2020 O/L results re-scrutiny due date announced!!

 The examinations department announced the due date for re-scrutiny of results of the recent 2020 GCE Ordinary Level (O/L) examination.

Accordingly, the closing date of applications is due on October 25.

The applications will only be called online for re-scrutiny.

The examinations Commissioner General requested the applicants to use one of the following methods to apply for re-scrutiny of results. 

As such, the applicants should log into the Examinations Department official website https://doenets.lk  and click on "School Examinations" which is under "Our Services".

The applicants can also log into DoE, the official mobile app of the Department and click on to online applications (School Examinations)

Should be considerate to use the same Index number and the National Identity card number, which you have used when you sat for the 2020 G.C.E. (0/L) Examination.

The fee for re-scrutinizing per subject is Rs. 200/=. This amount can be paid by a credit/debit card or through a post office.

"It is the responsibility of the candidate to enter all the subjects he/she wish to apply accurately. The applications without the relevant fee will be rejected without further notice," the Commissioner General said.
 
Due to the present Covid pandemic situation in the country, the recommendation/signature of the principal is not necessary for the applications of school candidates.

This re- scrutiny is relevant only for the subjects which the results have been issued by now, the he further said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
