Three men arrested for forging PCR reports to travel overseas

Three persons have been arrested by the STF during a raid in Kochchikade in connection with forging PCR reports and selling them for cash.

It was revealed that the suspects had made forged PCR reports and were selling them at higher prices to those going abroad.

The arrested suspects aged between 21 and 37 were identified as residents of Kochchikade and Rathdolugama areas and were handed over to the Rathdoluwa Police Station for further investigations.

The STF seized 17 fake PCR reports, a computer, five mobile phones and pen drives during the raid.

A team of STF officers of the Gonahena STF camp conducted the raid following information received by SSP C.J Sylvester Wijesinghe from the Air Force Intelligence Unit under the direction of the STF Commandant.
