16 trains cancelled due to COVID spread

 At least 16 trains scheduled for today (31) have been cancelled as several locomotive operators tested positive for COVID-19, Railway authorities said.

Accordingly, 36 trains would not run as scheduled.

Six trains operating on the Main Line, four apiece on the Coastal and Kelani Valley Lines, three trains on the Puttlam Line, and the train schedule to be on track to Kurunegala on the Northern Line have been canceled, as the result.
