No scheduled power cuts today; but intermittent interruptions possible - PUCSL Chairman!!

There will be no scheduled powercuts today, Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) Chairman Janaka Ratnayake said.

However, he said intermittent interruptions between 2 pm and 6 pm may be experienced to stabilize the national grid.

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) is now receiving fuel stock for today’s electricity generation, he said. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
