Visit Sri Lanka’ tourism mobile app to be launched this year!!

The proposed official mobile app for tourism industry in Sri Lanka will be launched this year, Tourism Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said.

He said the mobile application has been named 'Visit Sri Lanka' and is currently being developed.

With the introduction of the new app, it will be possible to buy tickets to all locations related to the tourism industry, he said.

The Minister expressed confidence that this mobile app would be a turning point in the tourism industry in the country.

It is expected to include tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, travel information, Google maps, approved tour guides, and tourist police emergency services.
