43 Brigade ready to work with any political party opposing Rajapaksas: Champika!!

The 43 Brigade is willing to work with any political party which opposes Rajapaksas, including those who are with SLPP, it's head Patali Champika Ranawaka said today.

Parliamentarian Ranawaka told journalists that 43 Brigade is willing to work with even SLFP or even those who oppose Rajapaksas within SLPP

"The need of the hour is to form a grand alliance to ouset the present rulers from power. This is why we are ready to work with any party to form a new grand alliance" Mr. Ranawaka said. "

The objective of all conferences among parties at this moment should be focused to oust the present regime," he added.

"The UNP Deputy Leader and National Organizer has accepted our invitation and participated at the 43rd brigade convention. This is why we have decided to participate in the Sathyagaha which was organised by the UNP last Friday. We will participate in all protests organized by others including JVP or SLFP in the future," he added. (Yohan Perera)
