Tense situ as protester outside Temple Trees allegedly assaulted by police!

A tense situation was reported outside the Temple Trees in Colombo after a protester among a group of people who were engaged in a protest against the Prime Minister and the Government, was allegedly assaulted by a Police officer.
The protesters claimed, the police allegedly assaulted one of their protestors when he tried to place a placard on one of the parked buses.

It was reported that the injured protester was admitted to the hospital.
