Two Senior DIGs transferred!

Two Senior DIGs have been transferred with immediate effect due to service requirements, police said.

Accordingly, Senior DIG Nilantha Jayawardena had been transferred from the post of Senior DIG in charge of the Central Province as Senior DIG Assistant Services while Senior DIG Priyantha Weerasuriya was transferred from the post of Senior DIG Assistant Service to Senior DIG in charge of the Central Province.

Police said the IGP has made the transfers with the approval of the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security, subject to the cover approval of the Public Service Commission.
