Exclusive fuel supply arrangements for healthcare workers from today: Ministry!

The Health Ministry has decided to provide an exclusive fuel supply arrangements for the Health care workers from today.

In a letter issued by Health Ministry Secretary Janaka Sri Chandraguptha said the above decision was taken based on the enormous support extended during the past two weeks to achieve success to the programs conducted by the ministry.

A fuel supply limitation for an individual and a dedicated list of filling stations were sent to all respective authorities.

Accordingly, a motor vehicle will get 20 litres, eight litres for three-wheelers and six litres for motorbikes will be provided from the closest filling station.

The Secretary requested in the letter that the respective officer in the Ministries instruct the respective official as occupation in this regard is highly valued. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
