LITRO gas distributed across the country from today!

At least 120,000 LITRO gas cylinders will be distributed across the country starting from today, the LITRO Gas Lanka Limited said.

They stated that 80,000 12.5 kg cylinders, 20,000 5 kg cylinders, and another 20,000 2.3 kg cylinders will be distributed today as promised.

Earlier, its chairman Muditha Pieris said that another 20,000 MT of gas would reach the country soon. After July 20, another four gas shipments scheduled to reach the country.

Accordingly, ships carrying gas are scheduled to sail in on July 20, 22, 24, 29 and 31. 

"With the continuous gas shipments coming in, the present gas shortage in the country will be eliminated by July 31 and said that there would be no shortage of domestic gas cylinders until August," LITRO Lanka added. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
