Sri Lanka will host South Asia’s first three-day reggae music festival, One Love 2026 – A Tribute to Bob Marley, from March 27 to 29, 2026, on the southern coastal town of Bentota.

The festival will feature six internationally recognised reggae artistes, marking one of the largest gatherings of global reggae performers held in the Asia-Pacific region. The confirmed line-up includes Maxi Priest, The Wailers, Julian Marley, Ky-Mani Marley, Inner Circle and Big Mountain.

The event will kick off from 5 p.m. each day.

Two headline acts will perform each night, with The Wailers and Maxi Priest on 27 March, Inner Circle and Big Mountain on 28 March, and Julian Marley and Ky-Mani Marley on 29 March. Four international DJs will also perform across the three days.

The announcement was made at a press conference in Colombo this week. Maxi Priest joined the event virtually from New York, expressing his enthusiasm about returning to Sri Lanka.

Organisers said the festival is expected to attract both local audiences and overseas visitors, including from India, the Maldives and Bangladesh, as well as long-haul travellers. The event is being organised by Sri Lankan-owned One In A Million Entertainment Ltd., which operates from Europe and Colombo, in partnership with Caribbean Entertainment. The organisers have previously brought international reggae acts such as Shaggy, Diana King and Big Mountain to Sri Lanka.
