 The government seems to have adopted our concept of getting the rich to donate for the development of the health sector, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said today. 

He said the announcement made by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake on Friday confirms that the government has adopted the concept that his party had proposed and implemented.

The Opposition Leader made this remark after donating medical equipment to the Aranayake Hospital.

 President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said on Friday that the government will come up with packages for which donors could come forward and assist, especially in rebuilding the nation after the cyclone disaster.
