Sri Lanka thanks China for support after Ditwah

 Foreign Affairs Minister Vijitha Herath met Yang Wanming, President of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism today (12).

In a post on X, Minister Herath thanked the Government and people of China for their “steadfast and invaluable support” to Sri Lanka in the wake of Cyclone Ditwah.

He said the meeting also focused on strengthening the longstanding and friendly bilateral relations between the two countries.
