T-56 rifle recovered from abandoned vehicle in Ragama
Ragama Police recovered a T-56 assault rifle along with ammunition from an abandoned vehicle in the Pahalawatta area last night.
Police said the firearm and two loaded magazines were discovered during an inspection of a car left in a secluded spot.
Investigations are ongoing to identify and arrest the suspects who abandoned the vehicle and the weapon
