தாளையடிக் கடற்கரை பகுதியில் திட்டமிடப்பட்டிருந்ததன் படி மாலை மூன்று மணியளவில் செயற்பாடு ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டது. கடற்கரையை சூழவுள்ள குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட பிரதேசங்களில் பரவிக்காணப்பட்ட பிளாஸ்ரிக், பொலித்தீன் போன்ற சூழலிற்கு ஒவ்வாதபொருட்களை இனங்கண்டு பிரதேச மக்களின் பங்களிப்புடன் உரப்பைகளில் சேகரிக்கப்பட்ட கழிவுகளோடு, ஏற்கனவே அங்கு குவியலாக்கப்பட்டு காணப்பட்ட பிளாஸ்ரிக், பொலித்தீன் குப்பைகளையும் சேர்த்து பருத்தித்துறை பிரதேச சபைக்கான வாகனத்திடம் ஒப்படைக்கப்பட்டது.துப்பரவிற்கென ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட நேரத்தின் பின் கடற்கரை ஓரத்தில் நின்ற ஆலமர நிழலில் கலந்துரையாடல் ஆரம்பமானது. பசுமைச்சுவடுகள் அமைப்பின் அறிமுகம், இதுவரை எம்மால் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்ற செயற்பாடுகள், சூழலியல் சார் விடயங்களில் அனைவரும் கொண்டிருக்க வேண்டிய விழிப்புணர்வின் தேவைப்பாடுகள், கடற்சூழல் சார் பிரச்சினைகள், பிளாஸ்ரிக் பொலித்தீன் போன்ற சூழலிற்கு ஒவ்வாத பொருட்களின் பாவனைகளை கட்டுப்படுத்தலுடன், கூடியளவில் வாழ்வியல் நடைமுறைக்குள் அவற்றை உள்வாங்குதல் என்பன தொடர்பிலும் கலந்துரையாடப்பட்டது.
