Daily kerosene demand increases by 100 MT: CPC

 

The daily demand for kerosene has increased by about 100 metric tons, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) said.

They said the average daily demand is about 500 metric tons, but the demand has climbed to 600 metric tons. 

Therefore the CPC has taken steps to release the required kerosene to the market to maintain the fuel is available without any shortage.

Kerosene will also be supplied to the fishing community as per requirement, the CPC said.
