Children from 16-19 to get second dose!!

The Health Ministry has decided to administer second dose for children in the age group from 16 to 19 who have completed three months since the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 Coordinator Dr. Anwar Hamdani told the Daily Mirror that the vaccination drive would commence in early February.

Meanwhile, the vaccination rollout for those children from 12 to 15 kicked off yesterday.

Dr. Hamdani requested parents to send their children to get themselves vaccinated with the relevant dose without hesitation or delay. (Sheain Fernandopulle)
