China’s Ambassador to visit East next month

 

China's Ambassador Qi Zhenhong who visited the northern province of Sri Lanka recently said he would undertake a similar visit to the eastern part of the country next month.

In a discussion with a group of journalists, he said he found that the Tamil people in the north were warm and hospitable during his last visit there, and he received a lot of requests from people and organizations in the east to visit Trincomalee, Batticaloa and Ampara.

He said he would travel there next month.
