New acting Director appointed to Medical Supplies Division

Dr. Dedunu Dias has been appointed as the Acting Director of the Medical Supplies Division of the Ministry of Health.

In addition, Dr. Sudath Darmarathna has been appointed as the Acting Deputy Director of the Division.

The post of the Director of Medical Supplies Division fell vacant following the arrest of its Director Dr. Kapila Wickramanayake over the import substandard Immunoglobulin injections.
