Sri Lankan band in UK contributes first concert profits to Sri Lanka Rebuilding Fund

Sri Lankan teen music band Cloud6, based in the UK, has donated £1,500 to the Government of Sri Lanka Rebuilding Fund through the High Commission of Sri Lanka in London.

The donation was made in the presence of the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to the United Kingdom, Nimal Senadheera.

The contribution represents the total profit from Cloud6’s first-ever live performance, held on December 13, 2025. The band donated all proceeds to support the Rebuilding Sri Lanka Fund, which aids recovery efforts following the devastating impact of Cyclone Ditwah.

Cloud6’s initiative highlights the commitment of young Sri Lankans living abroad to give back to their homeland and support national rebuilding efforts during challenging times.
