Update: Vaas, Udana test negative for COVID-19

 

Only one player in the Sri Lankan squad, Shiran Fernando tested positive for COVID-19 following the second PCR tests conducted yesterday.

However, bowling coach Chaminda Vaas and Isuru Udana tested negative in the seond PCR tests.  

Accordingly, Sri Lanka tour of Bangladesh to go ahead as scheduled.

Earlier, it was reported that Chaminda Vaas, Isuru Udana and newcomer Shiran Fernando have tested positive for COVID-19 following the PCR tests conducted head of the first ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka on Sunday.
